Bryon and Kassandra — a husband and wife duo on a mission to bring back good cake. We are proud parents of our two beautiful children, Nina and León, who we named our bakery after.

We had the amazing fortune of growing up together in a small border town named Calexico. Our love of food has always been our favorite way to connect, and growing up, food was a big deal in both of our households. Both of our grandparents and Bryon's parents were dedicated farm workers who loved their craft and wore their jobs like a badge of honor.

Our connection to food and farm work runs many generations back. The careful and tedious work behind the fruit and vegetables our families brought home after work made eating almost ceremonial — and eating through the seasons was the only way we ate. Food runs deep with us.

We take pride in honoring seasonal produce by making our home baked creations from scratch — organic when possible, with local ingredients — with the intention of bringing you back to your childhood, one bite of cake at a time.
